How to use Weleda Calendula Shampoo & Body Wash:
Use as a body wash: Baby experts and midwives recommend that no cleansing products are used in the first few months and that young babies are bathed in plain water. After this early stage, Weleda Calendula Shampoo & Body Wash can be used for partial cleansing such as the nappy area. Apply to a moistened cloth to deal with particularly grubby areas when necessary.
Use as a shampoo: When the first baby hair is usually replaced by thicker, stronger hair, then Weleda's body wash can be used as a shampoo too. Even then, infant hair should not be washed every day, to protect the delicate balance of sebum production in the scalp. Care must also be taken to rinse the shampoo thoroughly in order to look after the scalp.
